KS1000 combines our smarthub technology with a powerful Quad core Intel Brasswell SOC to provide a fully-featured, payment-enabled, embedded computing platform.

Epoint Pay Cloud Platform

All ePoint Smart Connect Kiosks come with the Epoint Pay Cloud platform loaded as standard. This is our powerful, Cloud-based payments solution which can be added to any unattended machine to allow it to take payments quickly & securely. Epoint Pay consists of middleware & software working in tandem with the SC200 Smart Hub. It has a simple API with a 2 step configuration. It already supports up to 400 industry standard devices which allows it to dramatically simplify peripherals integration for cash and cashless payments solutions for kiosks.

Built from the ground up, Epoint Cloud Platform also provides both monitoring & remote control of distributed terminals such as kiosks and smart vending, It provides a powerful middleware layer for device communication and management supporting up to 250+ industry standard peripherals. Peripheral devices are controlled by the Payment Device manager running on the SC200 Smart Hub. This provides support for all device protocols such as CCTalk.

The customer application runs on the SC200 smart hub and communicates with a single, high-level API (Application Programming Interface) using either a TCP socket or web socket connection.

Epoint Pay Cloud platform provides complete management of all the hardware from initialisation through to operation. All events are logged and are available as state and transaction logs for remote monitoring
